Frances X. Frei, Co-Founder
As Harvard Business School’s resident expert on service management, Professor Frances Frei has focused her scholarship and teaching on helping leaders to compete on excellence. Her ideas have shaped the strategies and operations of the world's most competitive companies, and the course she developed on Managing Service Operations is among the most popular offerings in the business school's recent history. She is a leading authority on designing, leading and scaling exceptional service firms.
Widely recognized for her dynamism in the classroom, Frances describes her deepest calling as helping leaders to create impact and “remove the pebbles” that can grow into obstacles to performance. She has received teaching awards at the Wharton School of Business and Harvard Business School, where she has been given the MBA Class Award for teaching excellence several times.
Anne Morriss, Co-Founder
Anne Morriss has worked with companies and governments throughout the U.S., Latin America and Africa on strategy, leadership and institutional change. Her clients have ranged from Fortune 50 companies repositioning in global markets to public sector leaders working to transform national economies. As a senior advisor with the OTF Group, Anne recently partnered with the World Bank to promote entrepreneurship and innovation in forty developing economies.
Anne's career has included leading the campaign finance team for U.S. Representative Marty Meehan and acting as the South American Director for Amigos de las Americas, an international NGO that promotes community health and leadership development in Latin America. Anne has lived and worked extensively in Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
Lori Trahan, Chief Executive Officer
Lori Trahan has an exceptional track record of making service businesses thrive. Prior to joining Concire, Lori served as Chief Revenue Officer for ChoiceStream, a software company in Cambridge, MA, focused on helping brands like Tesco, Zappos, AT&T, Dunkin' Donuts and Ticketmaster use data analytics to find their target audience and deliver relevant products and services.
Lori’s work on the front lines of service organizations started on Capitol Hill. She spent a decade working to make government more responsive to citizens, serving as Chief of Staff for U.S. Congressman Marty Meehan and Deputy Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is an effective political and community fundraiser, and has raised millions of dollars in support of the issues that most energize her, including scholarships for children who lost a parent on 9/11.
Lori serves on the Board of Incorporators of Lowell General Hospital and as Vice President of the Greater Lowell Community Foundation. She actively advises a handful of high-tech start-ups, and remains involved in federal and state government.
